ArcheAge Chronicles early access content & planned updates
Early access launches November 3, 2026 at 3 PM PT for $29.99 (36,000 won in Korea), with three regions of Auroria and four classes with eight weapons. It is expected to last about 9 to 12 months, during which the team plans to add new regions, more gender options, a third weapon per class, quality-of-life improvements, and more life and community content. No update has a date yet, and the detailed schedule will be shared in a separate roadmap. This page is based on executive producer Yongjin Ham's developer video released October 21, the October 27 release date announcement, and the Early Access section of the Steam store page.

Updates planned before full release
The Early Access section of the Steam store page lists the five plans below for the full release, and the October 21 video covered the same points. The team says more gender options, the third weapons, and quality-of-life changes are already in the works based on player feedback. The details may change with feedback.
| Plan | Details | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| New regions | More regions to explore in Auroria, with new adventures and stories | Before full release, no date |
| More gender options | Gender choices beyond each class's fixed gender, added gradually starting with select classes. Work began by October 18, and it is not in the demo | No date |
| A third weapon per class | One more weapon for each class, added one class at a time. The weapons have not been named | No date |
| Combat, progression & quality of life | Combat balance, character progression, and convenience features such as party play and channel switching | During early access |
| Life skills & community content | More life skills and community content | Before full release, no date |
The weapons that news sites have floated as third weapons, and the background on gender-locked classes, are in Classes & weapons.
What was said about price and the store
- The price may change at full release to reflect the added content and improvements, and any change will be announced in advance (Steam store page).
- An in-game store is being considered for after early access, focused on extra content, customization, and convenience. Items that make you stronger will never be sold, and the timing and items will be announced before it opens (October 7 developer video).
When will the roadmap come out?
The Steam store page says the detailed plans will be shared in a roadmap, and Korean media reported that the roadmap is due when early access begins (Gameple). Improvements and development direction will be shared regularly on the official Discord and Steam Community. We will fill in the timing column above when the roadmap is out.
Three promises
In the new video, Ham repeated the three promises from the October 7 video: a game about exploration and cooperation rather than competition, action that changes with the weapon you hold, and never selling items that make you stronger with money (Inven).
When is the full release?
No full release date has been announced. If early access starts on November 3 and lasts the expected 9 to 12 months, the full release would land around August to November 2027 (our estimate). The Steam page also says the timeline may change. We keep Release date & early access up to date.
