ArcheAge Chronicles trait tree planner
Plan each weapon's trait tree, see how many trait points it takes to reach the nodes you want, and share the result with one link.
Loading the planner.
How to use it
- Pick a weapon.
- Each tap on a node adds one rank. You can only take nodes connected to the weapon node at the top.
- Hover over a node to see its details (rank, node size, effect). On a phone, tap a node and the panel below shows the same details.
- Remove ranks in the panel below. A node cannot be removed while nodes below it depend on it.
- The nodes you take are listed by branch under "Effects you picked" below the tree.
- Enter the trait points you have to see how many are left.
Getting trait points
Trait points do not come from leveling. You get them by interacting with and destroying Raeven's Coilstones, which sit near powerful bosses, and you spend them per weapon in the Traits menu. See Progression for how it fits together.
Data status
The planner has three trees: the Warrior's Longsword and Greatsword and the Ranger's Longbow.
- Longsword (40 nodes, 7 large): captured from the demo's trait screen. It splits into 21 nodes on the left, 1 in the middle, and 18 on the right.
- Greatsword (40 nodes, 10 large): node layout redrawn from the Warrior trait screen picture in the October 15 official post, 20 nodes on each side. The Longsword tree in the same picture matches the demo, so we treat it as the demo layout (our estimate).
- Longbow (45 nodes, 13 large): captured from the demo's trait screen.
Node names and effects have not been published officially, so nodes show "Effect not confirmed yet". The only effects in an official post are the Greatsword examples: the damage branch unlocks Armor Break and turns Sunder into Sweeping Slash, which hits twice with a wider arc, and the defensive branch adds Pummel Strike, usable while guarding, which grants a damage-absorbing shield. Costs and unlock rules are still being checked, so for now the planner assumes 1 point per rank, up to 3 ranks on large nodes, and that a node opens once any connected node above it is taken (our estimate).
We will add the Hatchet, Elemental Staff, Wavesword, Axe and shield, and Warhammer as we confirm their trees. Demo trait screen captures, or captures of a node's hover text, are welcome through the contact page.
