Trade profit calculator
Compare routes to see which trade outlet pays the most for a trade pack. Expected profit accounts for theft risk and travel time.
Loading the calculator.
How to use
- Pick a trade pack and enter a quantity.
- Enter the outlet demand (%). If the game shows demand below 100%, use that value.
- Production cost uses the same market prices as the crafting calculator. If you have your own figure, choose "Enter manually".
- Sort by expected profit, profit per hour, or profit per labor to find the route that fits your goal.
How it is calculated
- Sale price = base price × demand (%)
- Expected profit = sale price × (1 − theft risk) × quantity − cost per pack × quantity
- Profit per hour = expected profit ÷ travel time (in hours)
- Profit per labor = expected profit ÷ (labor per pack × quantity)
Theft risk is the chance of losing the pack on the way. A lost pack earns nothing. Route risk values are reference figures set by the operator and can differ by server.
Data status
Trade is part of the official feature list for Chronicles (trade journeys through dangerous areas, raiders after your trade goods), but it is left out of the October Steam demo, so there are no real trade goods, outlets, or sale prices yet. The current list and prices are examples that show how the calculator works, and you can enter demand and cost yourself. We will replace them with real values as we confirm them and note each change in the changelog. What has been shown of trade so far is in the trade, crafting & farming overview.

If a price or route does not match the game, tell us through the contact page with your game version. We check it, fix it, and record the change.
